*A Note on Garden Guidance
Garden Guidance is intended to supplement the care of your landscape through professional guidance, observation, and education. It is not intended to replace on-site consultations, design services, or landscape stewardship visits.
Consultations are scheduled in advance and are intended to provide thoughtful, structured guidance rather than on-demand support.
Clients seeking hands-on instruction may benefit from Learn the Aesthetics. Clients requiring property assessments, landscape design, or long-term planning may benefit from a Walk & Talk Consultation.
Learn the Aesthetics
For those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of their landscape, Learn the Aesthetics offers personalized, on-site horticultural instruction tailored to your property.
Working together in the garden, we explore the principles behind plant care, pruning, seasonal maintenance, plant identification, and ecological stewardship. Rather than simply caring for the landscape for you, our goal is to help you gain the confidence and knowledge to become an active participant in its care.
Learn the Aesthetics is ideal for homeowners who enjoy working in their gardens and wish to better understand the living landscape around them.
Single Lesson | $195
Focused instruction centered around a specific topic, plant, garden space, or horticultural skill. Ideal for clients seeking guidance on a particular challenge or area of interest.
Stewardship Intensive | Starting at $395
An immersive, property-wide educational experience designed for those wishing to develop a deeper understanding of their landscape. Together, we explore the property's unique conditions, plant communities, maintenance priorities, and long-term stewardship strategies through hands-on learning and discussion.
Garden Companion
Created for adults aged 70 and older who wish to remain active, spend time outdoors, and stay connected to the landscapes they love. Garden Companion offers a flexible stewardship experience centered around participation, encouragement, learning, and shared time in the garden.
Whether working side by side, learning new skills through hands-on mentorship, or simply enjoying the company of a fellow gardener, these visits are designed to help clients remain engaged with the natural world while receiving the support they need. Together, we may develop seasonal priorities, discuss plant care, make observations, tackle manageable tasks, or simply spend time tending the landscape at a comfortable pace.
Some days Earth Aesthetics may focus on specialized horticultural work while clients participate in lighter tasks nearby. Other days may be spent learning, planning, and gardening together. No prior gardening experience is required—each visit is tailored to the individual's interests, abilities, and goals.
Visits are customized and limited to a maximum of three hours.
Because a garden should remain an affordable source of purpose, curiosity, and joy throughout every stage of life. Inquire for more information.
Inspired by Ms. Kathy, a longtime gardener who reminded us that tending a garden is about far more than maintaining plants.

The Earth Aesthetics Way
COMING SOON
More than a maintenance guide, The Earth Aesthetics Way is a reflection of the philosophy, observations, and practices that shape our approach to landscape stewardship.
Drawing from years of experience working with gardens through every season, this ongoing publication explores the relationships between plants, people, and place—offering practical guidance, thoughtful insights, and a deeper understanding of what it means to care for a landscape in harmony with nature.
Whether used as a reference, a source of inspiration, or a companion to your own gardening journey, The Earth Aesthetics Way invites readers to see the landscape not as something to control, but as something to understand, cultivate, and steward.
Walk & Talk Consultation
Every landscape has a story to tell.
Our Walk & Talk Consultation is an opportunity for us to become acquainted with both your property and your vision for it. Together, we will walk the landscape, discuss your goals, identify challenges and opportunities, and evaluate the existing plant communities, structures, and natural features that make your property unique.
Just as importantly, this conversation allows us to get to know you. Understanding how you live, entertain, relax, garden, and interact with your outdoor spaces helps us develop recommendations that feel natural, functional, and deeply personal.
During our time together, we will discuss immediate concerns, long-term aspirations, and potential paths forward. Clients are encouraged to take notes throughout the consultation, as ideas, observations, and recommendations are often shared as we move through the property.
The Walk & Talk Consultation serves as the foundation for all future recommendations, design work, and stewardship plans, ensuring that any proposed approach is rooted in a thorough understanding of both the landscape and the people who call it home.
Investment begins at $195
